LA native Chris Payne Dupré has spent his entire life studying, understanding and perfecting
the art of movement and the way body mass responds to instruction on a muscular level. He
began his career dancing and choreographing for legendary artists, such as Prince, Janet
Jackson, Diana Ross, Sean “Diddy Combs, Jane’s Addiction and international Latin singing
sensations, Paulina Rubio and Chayanne. It didn’t take long for Chris’ success as a
dancer/choreographer to draw the attention of major TV networks and production companies.
HBO, FOX, NBC, Netflix, Comedy Central and Ryan Seacrest Productions have all sought
Chris’ expertise as a choreographer/movement coach for some of the most iconic TV shows
and films of the last twenty years.
Chris is a movement specialist who uses his knowledge of body muscle and the kinetic energy
transfer achieved through workout and dance to help his clients and students maximize their
potential. In recent years, he has worked individually with the likes of Jason Derulo, Christina
Applegate, the Backstreet Boys, Seth Green and other A-list Hollywood celebrities. He also
continues to teach and motivate students from all over the world about the importance of
movement to both physical and mental health. In the past year, his services have been sought in
Germany, France, Italy, Holland, Canada and Japan.
Currently, Chris is working to expand his movement fitness brand, Fit Hop LA; now featured
in two locations and coming soon to a city near you!
